Hi, I am a Storyteller...

... I am Vanessa Hoffmann; the owner of Giggle Monster Photos. I am a studio/outdoor photographer based out of Strasburg/Dover/ New Philadelphia, Ohio and I specialize in newborn, child, and family photography (maternity and seniors are also welcome). My studio is located at 1315 N. Wooster Ave. Strasburg, OH 44680. Sessions are also shot on location in Strasburg, Dover, New Phila, and the surrounding areas.

My experience with graphic design led me to develop my love of photography in 2009. Giggle Monster Photos was born in January 2010 and it has been one heck of a journey so far! I have been married to my husband, Carl, for the last 18 years (who says online relationships never work out - we met on MySpace lol) and we have 3 children - CJ (16), Cali (11), and Lukas (8). We also provide zoo accommodations for our dogs Cinder, Cosmo, Kirby, and Walter; our saltwater fish tank and our chameleon.

I often get asked what is my favorite type of session to photograph... and, honestly, I love it all! I love watching the first smiles of a 3 month old, those wobbly sitters, chasing around the those on-the-go toddlers, and seeing the joy on the face of those 1 year olds when they experience their cake for the first time! I enjoy spending time with amazing families and capturing those giggles and unforgettable moments. But, those brand new precious babies MIGHT just be my all time favorite. It's the only time that those babies will be that small - will curl up just so - and sleep so peacefully.
